Ride Astride Cars

Looking for a way to haul friends and family around on your train but don’t have the time or tools to complete a car? Pacific Design Shops Ride Astride Cars are the perfect answer. All the parts are precut and just needs to be glued together. The car features a dropped center, wide foot rests for safety, and incorporated lifting handles. We have two sizes available, a 6’ version to comfortably fit 3 adults or a 5’ version that can fit in the back of a pickup truck.  The kit can easily be completed in a weekend.  It makes for a great project to get the kid involved!  Spend less time in the shop and more time on the track, riding the rails!

The new 5′ Economy size is the same overall dimensions as the 5′ version with reduced and simplified ends.

What is Included in the Kit

• 18 CNC cut pieces of ¾” Baltic Birch Plywood
• ½” Baltic Birch Plywood piece for the seat base
• Full exploded view instructions including no weld solutions for truck bolsters
• Mortise and tenon construction for great strength and super easy assembly
