The engine features all steel construction for superior durability and comes E-coated from the factory for maximum rust prevention. An installed horn and headlights means the engine is ready-to-run right out of the box and complies to railroad club standards for safety when running day or night. The axle boxes are fully sprung and provide 3/8″ of lift on each wheel, combined with a 0.875″ wheel width gives excellent tracking ability on the roughest of tracks.

Our Ready-to-Run Engine comes fully welded and ready for paint. Wheels, axles and motor and installed and tested for functionality, complete wired electrical system w/ handheld controller, working Tom Bee couplers, grabirons and other detail parts. Electrical system includes Syren 50A motor controller, battery disconnect, horn, hi/low headlights, controller disconnect protection (power to motor controller cutoff when handheld controller is removed) and engine kill switch. (Does not include batteries)
